Fthiotis Papermill in Damasta, Lamia, Greece, part of the El Pack Group, stands as one of Greece's largest producers of recycled packaging paper. To enhance their wastewater treatment process, the paper mill has partnered with Krofta for the design and supply of a state-of-the-art DAF unit.

The Krofta Supracell DAF (SPC-27), installed as a pre-treatment system, efficiently recovers fibers from the factory's operations while treating a substantial flow rate of 6,000 m³/day. With a remarkable TSS removal efficiency of approximately 95%, the system not only improves wastewater management but also contributes to resource recovery and sustainability at the mill.
